T-Screw is a classic anti-theft device consisting of a wall screw with a T-shaped head that penetrates an oblong plate attached to the painting.
\n<\/span>Turning the screw a quarter turn thanks to a special tool<\/a> locks the system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Can be used as a stand-alone picture hanger positioned at 1 or 3 points, or as an additional safety device for a picture already equipped with other hanging systems (e.g., Vclip profile, Lock plates, etc.).<\/p>\n

Installation:<\/b>
\n<\/b>Depending on the configuration, two installation methods are available:<\/span><\/p>\n

Method 1 (3-point locking, known as \u201chigh security\u201d):<\/b> This method involves using three screw-on brackets on either side (facing each other) and at the bottom of the frame, and three T-screw fixed into the wall at the same spacing as the brackets. The object is then positioned so that the wall screws fit into the elongated holes. Rotating each T-screw head a quarter turn with the <\/span>special key<\/a> locks the fasteners.
\nIf one of the three Tee-Screws is unlocked, the other two remain operational.<\/p>\n

Method 2 (1-point lock + 2 flat hooks):<\/b> This method, with a single locking point, is quicker to install than method 1. Two horizontal brackets are screwed into the top of the frame and two flat hooks are screwed into the wall, from which the object is suspended. In addition, a bracket and a T-screw are positioned at the bottom. Security is achieved when the T-screw is locked by turning it a quarter turn. This method allows you to delay locking objects as they remain in place. <\/span><\/p>\n

Packaged in sets of 25 or 200 (T-screws, brackets + fixing screws), in kits of 3 (T-screws + dowels, brackets + fixing screws) or in kits for 25 frames (25 T-screws + 25 dowels, 75 brackets + 150 fixing screws, 50 flat hooks).<\/p>\n

TIP 1: Use the screwdriver tool<\/a> to save time, especially when working on multiple items.
\nIf you don’t have the tool, first screw\/unscrew a 6 mm wood screw into the wall to make it easier to screw in the Tee-Screw. <\/span>
\n<\/span>TIP 2: Use the marker<\/a> to easily mark the location of the Tee-screw on the wall.<\/span>
\n<\/span>TIP 3: For large frames, use 4 Tee-screws instead of 3. <\/span>
\n<\/span>TIP 4: Placed under the base of an object or statue, a few tee screws can effectively secure the object. <\/span>
