The Lock plate is a secure hanging system for paintings, designed and produced by Chassitech.
A Lock is fixed on either side of the frame, replacing splints. The assembly is suspended and locked to two wall screws spaced at the same center-to-center distance as the Locks.
The result is a hanging system that presses the picture against the wall but allows precise height adjustment.
Each Lock has an adjustment system which can correct the height of the work and to adjust its level. Likewise, it has a locking screw at the bottom, requiring a special micro-screwdriver to operate.
This screw is invisible when operated (exclusive to Chassitech).
The 4-lock security configuration per panel is one of the most effective anti-theft methods available on the market.
Manufactured in large series, Lock 8 is affordable and reliable.

The weights indicated are based on tests carried out by Chassitech on a traction bench in near-real life conditions. They include a wide safety margin, but these are for indicative purposes. The load resistance depends very much on the quality of fastenings both on the object and in the wall.
