Stretching frames (Work stretchers)

Aluminium stretching frames are used during the restoration process of canvas paintings.
Since 1994, Chassitech stretching frames have been the only tools available in which tension bands can be clipped instead of stapled.
In addition to ensuring a very fast mounting of the canvas, this technique allows the fabric to move during extension and allows an ultra-fast dismantling which makes subsequent re-extensions easier.
In addition, Chassitech frames all have an internal mechanical tensioning mechanism that generates independent warp and weft movements. Removable cross members are available as additional products.

This is an original and useful product that has become a standard in most French restoration studios.
