‘Atlas’ reinforcement stretcher

Thin reinforcement structure if the original stretcher is damaged.
Old stretchers are sometimes no longer suitable for stretching canvases but must be kept, usually for museum purposes. If this is the case, Chassitech can add an ‘ Atlas ’ aluminium reinforcement stretcher to the artwork.

If the cross bars can be removed, the reinforcement stretcher will be embedded into the thickness of the original stretcher. Otherwise, it will be positioned on the back.
Special mounting brackets are provided.

The ‘ Atlas ’ reinforcement stretcher can also be used to support a removable back protection.
