NEC38 and NEC50 fixing kit for framing in aluminium stretchers

This fixing kit is used during framing (traditional frames and shadow box frames) of NEC38 or NEC50 aluminium stretchers.

Consisting of 10 M4 insert nuts and 10 M4x8 hexagon socket head stainless steel screws, this kit is to be used in addition to the flat steel plates to connect the stretcher to the frame.

The nuts, which can be inserted, are spring loaded to hold them in place in any position.

The nuts can be inserted into the end of the profile before assembling the frame and/or after assembly via the face of the frame’s groove (in the latter case, to make it easier to insert the nut, the spring can be removed from the nut using pliers or by hand. Please note that once the spring has been removed, the nut will no longer stay in place in the groove, so installation must then be carried out horizontally).
