Description
The Z6 profile is a small black polyester finishing profile that has been certified to be compatible with conservation uses. It can be used to frame back protections that are around 6 mm thick, such as polycarbonate back boards. For thinner back protections (min. 5 mm), the profile should be bent manually or fitted with keys to ensure that the backboard can be pressed against the stretcher.
The Z6 profile is a good alternative to adhesive tapes and provides an elegant and professional finish. We recommend keeping the ends of the cells sealed.
A V-groove makes it easy to drill screw holes where you want. A special drill bit is available for purchase.
It can be easily cut with a hacksaw or MULTI-COUP’®-type profile shears.
