Special stretcher finish for stiff back protections

Chassitech can make modifications to its stretchers to fit rigid back protections.
There are two types of rigid protection:
– The ‘Opoul’ system: a non-removable back panel is inserted between the canvas and the stretcher.
– The ’Olot’ system: a removable protective panel is attached at the back.

Some aluminium stretchers are more suitable for the installation of back protections because certain models are already equipped to accommodate rigid protections.

Please note: we do not supply the protections themselves. The most common types of protection are polycarbonate honeycomb panels a material chosen for its proven safety. Alternative panels may also be used, as long as they comply with the necessary conservation compatibility requirements.
